Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.

Happy Earth Day. Have you remembered to do something extra kind for our mother earth in appreciation of all that she does, and all she has sacrificed for us?
One of the hardest things for me to stomach is ingratitude. And an area where I often notice ingratitude running rampant is with regard to our earth. It’s like we just don’t get it. We’ve been provided with a home so bountiful and beautiful that gives us everything we could ever need and want, and yet we greedily take and take without giving thought to how we are ravaging the very one who provides for us. Our ingratitude, our ignorance, and our refusal to take action to make significant changes to protect our earth is costing her dearly. It is now a time of crisis, and with an administration unwilling to face the inconvenient truths regarding our environment we must speak out more loudly than ever before.
We can transcend our limitations and turn things around, if only we would stand up and fight for the one who sustains us, and make every day “earth day”.

Don’t it always seem to go
That you don’t know what you’ve got
Till it’s gone
They paved paradise
