don’t worry, be happy

I received several emails expressing concern for the tearful little guy shown yesterday so thought I’d share this image of him taken not more than 10 minutes later. Only children can have a full on hysterical breakdown, complete with red eyes and tear stained cheeks and manage to look adorable seconds later.
Could the reason for this be their absolute openness and full immersion into the moment at hand? Is it their pure and allowing nature that moves them fluidly, like water, from present time to present time?
Last night I stumbled across a poem by my favorite poet, Ranier Maria Rilke. I’ve read this poem before, but for some reason two lines jumped off the page last night and have been on my mind ever since:
Just keep going. No feeling is final.
~Rilke
No feeling is final.
