Another image that can probably only be appreciated by those who know just how hard fought for and fleeting this moment of repose truly was. Which leaves only the boy’s mother and I. But I like the tranquility in his face, and the soft lines of his little shoulders. In looking at the image again once scanned (which I could not get to scan properly), it is indeed a rather plain portrait. Perhaps I might earn notoriety for being “The Plain Portrait Photographer”? I could answer the phone, “Triple P, Cynthia speaking, where no-frills undistinguished portraits are our specialty“. Hmm, this might not cut it in the clever high tech times we live in, eh?
