I took my camera out for a play date yesterday to become reacquainted again after our period of estrangement the last couple of weeks. We had great fun just observing real life together on a splendid Sunday afternoon and vowed to try to do this more often in the future.

When the usual “are you with the newpaper” questions came, I just smiled each time and said “nope, just an amateur playing around for fun“, and it felt absolutely true.
