more love

I’d arrived at the shoot location early, and when my clients phoned to say they were running late I decided to go for a walk to pass the time. This is when I noticed the railway bridge of more love. I immediately wondered about the person or people who’d decided to spray paint this message on the side of the bridge. Were they in a boat, or had they climbed onto the structure itself to do this work? Either way, they went to a good deal of trouble to communicate their thoughts.
I then wondered if they wrote these words from a place of feeling abundant love or one of feeling lack. Both are powerful and passionate states that could elicit such desire for bold expression, but I’m thinking that a person in the throes of feeling abundant love is probably too busy to take on this project. I’d like to be wrong about this though. I’d like to imagine the perpetrators of this graffiti to have been feeling the expansiveness of great love so intensely that they were inspired to remind others to stay always on the tracks of more love. Simply stated, “more love” is what the journey is about.
